I guess SOMEBODY needs to keep the wheels of BS turning on night shift.
Morning Oregon and Friends! The day shift has arrived!
Got a call from my brother in law last night. I've had him looking for some scaffolding I could use around here. He is retired army, but works for an auction house in Tacoma Wa.
He was sent to a local warehouse to pack up several truckloads of "stuff" the warehouse owner wanted removed from a company that went broke. The owner wanted all the pallet racking removed also, but the auction house wanted no part of it. Long story short...... He loaded it all up on his car trailer and is bring it down to me for FREE!
I now have 60' of 48"X8'X8' racking, and 40' of 48"X10'X10' pallet racking heading down here next Wed!
I'll use a couple sections for scaffolding, and the rest will go into my storage building and used for storage.
Good morning Don and the Oregon crew, welcome to FRIDAY!!
Nice score, Don!! My dad bought a bunch of scaffolding years ago, and now I have it, I can't tell you how many times I've used it. I'm actually going to set up a section to work on the roof of the 67!
I do love free............lol
I think it's a great score, and will make my storage building a lot more useful, and the scaffolding will make working on these buildings much easier...
Mikey and I worked on his cab all day yesterday. Had a buddy show up while I was using my "stud-gun" removing dents. He had never seen one before, and was totaly amazed how it works! Sure makes removing dents MUCH easier!
I have one of those stud guns, haven't had the chance to use it yet. I have to pull the flywheel off of my JD lawn tractor tonight. Damn thing wouldn't start Sunday halfway through my stepson mowing the yard. All it does is backfire through the exhaust (timing issue), and I'm pretty sure the flywheel has sheared it's key that holds it to the crankshaft.
Did you see the pics on TV of the shootout just East of the Dalles on I-84 yesterday?
The State Patrol officer is a friend of ours. Called his wife last night and he will be alright. Took a hit in the chest, but didn't hit anything vital. The perp is dead...
The back of this cab looks like somebody wacked it with a hammer, a few hundred times..........lol
The rest of the cab is just fine. It looks like somebody was throwing things into the bed for years.............
I love my studgun! Makes a crappy job much easier...
