Kind of a rough time of year to sell a boat for a good price. The boating season is all but over with. The buyer will get a couple of weekends out of it and then it will be time to winterize it.
Then you have to match the boat, type of boat and size of boat to what it is the person wants to do with it. Fish, ski, tube, sight see, show up the neighbors or somewhere in between.
Don, have a good day, buddy!! Jim, I know it's a bad time of year. But, I figure give it a shot, if I get the price I want, off she'll go. Otherwise,I'll just store it again over the winter, and put it back on the market next April.
Yep, and I'm not giving the damn thing away! I had one guy call and literally low ball me half of what I was asking. His thinking was, he would save me storage fees. I told him it costs me 250 bucks to store it over the winter. What an idiot.
Speaking of boats, what's everyone doing for labor day weekend? Taking mine up to my sisters cabin on Prineville reservoir. Hopefully get some decent bass fishing action.
I actually get a weekend off. 3 whole days! Going to my brother's Saturday night to watch the Huskers play Wyoming, having my daughters 9th birthday on Sunday, and Monday will be dedicated to working on the 67.

Keeping mine in the driveway, beside the house where I know it is safe and someone would have to drive through our house or the neighbors house to get to it.
However, at O'darkthirty on Tuesday morning, when most of the drunks should be home passed out, we will be heading out for Cabela's in Springfield (which is optional, but I don't think I have been able to fix the runaway steering wheel in the pickup yet) and then on up to Diamond Lake where I will set up a fortified, armed fishing camp and enjoy myself for 2 weeks!
