I wouldn't be so quick to judge Jack. He didn't have a chance to save him. Have you ever been plunged into 38 deg water? I have, and if I hadn't been withen 10 feet of the dock and had people drag me back on the dock, I'd have died right there on the spot.....

I've had two friends lose kids in similar ways (accidents), and both could not live with the pain, and committed suicide. No father wants to outlive his child...........
