Did somebody say snow? Went for a ride with a friend of mine today. From Corvallis, to Burnt Woods, to Harlan, up the back side of Mary's Peak. Lots of fun!

I joke with my wife that driving a hybrid has a risk that suddenly I'm going to think Obama is a swell president.
Nah, not going to happen!
It is a bit interesting to drive. The Escape Hybrid is much better than the Prius in the start / stop shudder. I'm learning some of the quirks on getting it to do what I want. It will really freaking go, especially at highway speeds.
It's great in the snow and ice. A lot of cars have bad anti-lock at low speed but Ford got this one right.
