Yep! But first I have to get ready for the Hams this coming weekend. I rented out the paint booth to a group of Ham radio operators having a contest this weekend. They'll be here from late Thursday and gone Sunday. They really like the site here for their contest.

They keep trying to get me back on-air. Yes, I have a Ham license..........Haven't used it since I got out of the Army in 1972. I ran the MARS station in SocTrang VietNam for over two years.
I keep putting them off, just don't have the time..........

Just got a call from the County Sheriff Gary Bettencort. Looks like my plan for a LifeFlight landing pad here at the base just might become a reality. We have a "slab" from a house that burnt down years ago that I thought would make a good site for a landing pad. Looks like the sheriff's dept, and local dispatch have signed on, and the project will move forward. The base owners are willing to donate the land, and the County will provide some cash...........

Hey looks like it's going to be a good GTG this year. Have you thought about getting a Porta John? With that many people might not be a bad idea, especially with the overnight option in effect.

That will have to wait till the LLC get's the title to the base back from the Port. Should happen in the next month, we hope.........
The Port won't let us do anything till then...
