With Mig and Tig, the only time I ever use "real" welding rod is when I weld cast iron, so no, I won't need any tubes for rods......
Not much done lately, to much other "stuff" going on. We need to get it cleaned out and painted before the 5th of May though. I rented it out to a Ham radio club from Portland for the weekend. They like the shear height of the base here for a contest.

Question guys......I've been thinking about making a new thread here in the chapter for "shop stuff" Mainly little tricks, stuff built at home (like my new weld bench, etc...) Workbenches, hoists, just whatever.....Think it would work?

There's prime water right in front of the house, but I just can't resist running the boat.
With the Old Ranger down, I will have to use the F-250 or the motorhome (if I don't sell it ) to do the towing, wife would rather I didn't use her Explorer for "fishing trips" and the 4 banger Ranger is a little lacking in power for towing over the pass.
