Morning guys. I've had to avoid watching too much of the coverage. I have to keep realizing that I have my life that still has to go on, regardless of what's happened. Doesn't mean it's out of my mind, though.
I can't watch that stuff on T.V. It only makes me very angry that anybody could do something like that.
On a lighter note... I've got bright sunshine this morning. I've got a quick meeting and then I'm off to do some field work. That will be a nice break from reality for a while.
Started early for me. Woke up to an inch of snow, wind howling, and the shop heat ran out of veggie oil. Backhoe starter went south. Carb decided to take a crap on my big air compressor, then ran out of tips for my Mig welder. Oh, Harley had a Dr's appointment this afternoon, so I lost him for half a day. Tomorrow just has to be better.........
On a cheerier note, my day went well, after installing some accessories on my new dump bed trailer I stopped at a friends place and had a beer while troubleshooting an ignition problem on one of the guys Harley then went home and cooked up a supper that couldn't be beat. Hope tomorrows better for all of you.
Don and Dave, sorry to hear you both had a bad day. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
The weather was almost perfect here today. Mostly sunny and around 60 degrees. Saw some awesome steelhead water that may require further investigation on my lunch break tomorrow. I also saw some quail too.
Mike, it sounds like your day went well. How's the snow situation at your place?
Tiny, It's been chilly with frequent snow showers and some wind, got quite a bit yesterday but it melted off today, just showers that did not accumulate. Tomorrow's supposed to be decent and then back to central Oregon spring weather.
