I picked up a AMX drag car from an ol buddy that was just to old to run it anymore a couple of years ago. I've already built a 401 big block for it, and have been looking for a straight axle for it. I've got 6 different companies that have said they'll sponsor it. just need to get it done. It already has the roll cage installed and has a complete fiberglass front end. Mikes straight axle will help reduce front end weight...
I lived right behind a drag strip in high school. Mom and dad hated it, but I loved it! Even had my own gate behind the house. Led right into the pits! The owners were great with me. I use to go in there during the week and clean up the place and help out during race day.
Harley's been wanting to do some racing, so I bought this car, and now it looks like we'll be working on it this fall and winter. Hope to have it ready for next season!
