I think I would like to do a Hydroboost conversion but I am not sure. Could someone explain to me how my vacuum booster works and how a hydroboost would work.

While Im under the truck I would like to redo/replace/grease things but I have no idea what I am looking for or even what the parts are called. Could you please list parts or items that are commonly in need of replacing?

My peddle is very squishy, and there is no stopping on a dime in this truck. Thanks for the help guys.

 

hydro boost runs/gets is pressure from the power steering pump.

 

Well not be a smart *** but I knew that much, I guess I need to see a diagram on the booster to see how it works.
