Which Coolant Filter

Ford 6.0L Powerstroke Diesel Coolant Filter Kit

2003-2007 6.0L Coolant Filtration Kit |MKM Customs

10 dollars isnt something to worry about. Just which one is a better built kit. I have heard that the crimp on the Sinster Diesel is cheaper and less quality then the brass fitting with hose clamps. What yall think?

i like how sinister use the small switches compared to the big switches on the other. just seems to me that would be kinda gaudy to use the same size handles that go on your houses main water source. i also like the sinister mount location and how neat it sits in the truck. i dont like the blue hose, but wire loom takes care of that easily and protects the hose more . Ill proab end up going with the sinister, but I just want to see what people think out there. getting close to finally getting to do everything that i wanted to do. i finally have sat down, wrote out my list with prices and where im getting everything from. looking at about 2000 including shipping. only thing im not decided on is where im getting my exhaust tip from. thinking of going with a 6in tip. looked on mprb and i didnt see any i liked. theres a guy that works close to where i love and he has one i like, gonna stop in and talk to the guy and see the size and where he got it from.

I installed the Dieselsite filtration system about two months ago, so no long term experience. It is possibly a little slower to install, the mounting of the filter bracket was slow to install, but sturdy when complete. The stock hose connections allow for easy hose changing if there is ever any accidents and a line gets cut. I ordered extra filters and am pleased overall with the quality of the product.

I used the Dieselsite in both my trucks... took about 20 minutes to install on the first one, about 5 on the second one. Really nice kit, seems to work well.
