2000 F-350 7.3 Automatic

Hey guys, newbie here! Anybody awake right now that can answer or help with a problem I have with my auto tranny? I was driving fine, took offf from a green light and when it started to shift into 2nd it lost all gears. I coasted to a stop and had no forward or reverse gears. Fluid full, shifter cable connected, is there a gear sensor inside the tranny that could cause this?
