351m dead hole

i did a compression test yesterday on a stock original 351m. numbers were 95 to 125 (which i assume is normal wear), except cylinder #8 wouldnt even read on the gauge (starts at 25). Guessing it had maybe 5-10 psi because it did have some pressure when i released it. Is this a common problem on these motors or do i need to just look for basic mechanical issues? i did not do a leakage test to locate the problem or pull the motor apart to look. The engine will be rebuilt anyway i was just curious. i know it could be burnt or stuck valves, hole in piston, or even broken rod. i just wondered if anybody else has seen this what it might be. thanks

Take the valve cover off and make sure there the intake valve is opening. Could be bent push rod of something.
