I have a 99 f350 SD 4X4 crew cab long bed with 371k on it stock except in 99 when I bought it I put a mid range Eldorado Sports super chip in and 285/75/16s. Have had very little trouble with the truck and want to do some useful mods on it. I dont know what I should do first. I do pull a 11,000 camper and other trailer as well. Any ideas on what needs to be done and how it will be useful and how to do it. Thanks for any advice.
What do you want out of your truck? That helps with a direction for mods. If you just want some longevity mods, consider the hutch, 50 cent, FRx, valve body, 6.0 trans cooler, and gauges.
Gauges to monitor EGT's Boost and Trans temp. I would not advise running a chip without those. Also a John Wood Valve Body would wake up the old tired transmission. the hutch mod would probably benefit you.

These sound good is there somewhere on this site that explains these and how to do them.
There are different ways to do a "hutch" mod, but this is the idea. Welcome to guzzle's In-tank Hutch Mod Web Page personally I didn't use the large filters, I just ran a inline filter before the pump on the frame rail.
The 50 cent mod, is putting a slightly ground down quarter under the clips for the UVCH(Under Valve Cover Harness) to keep them from coming loose.
