hood hinges
my hood hinges have have 1/4 inch play vertical. I tried to see if I could tighten the inner bolts but it didnt work, the play is at the pivot point on the hinge. Is this correct. also the passanger side hinge has a crack in it, I am thinking of replacing just the springs. but if there is that much play i am thinking they should be replaced. Any information would help.

sorry wish I could help my truck is a 1955. Does anyone know if there is a lot of play in the hood hinges. My gut tells me the play side to side means the hood hinges are bad. Also I found a crack in the passenger side hinge. Anyone have hood hinges to sell?
