So, the wife bought me a new sub and amp for Christmas. Going to add to the factory stereo. I've got an '04 F250 CC with a 6.0 with the factory 6 disc changer. Where can I get the amp's remote on switch hooked to so the amp will turn on and off with the factrory stereo? Thanks!
Mine is set up to come on when the key is on, I always have the radio on anyway. Sometimes the amps have a setting to come on when it senses the music is on.
usually the amps have a turn on wire that can be wired to the "power antenna" wire coming out of the radio and what I did was buy a modual that sends 12 volts to the amp when it senses audio coming to the rear speakers.
If you have the accessory delay, find a fuse that cuts the power when a door is opened (after the key's been shut off) and grab a fuse tap for your amp turn on.
Got a Pioneer TS-SWX251. It's a shallow mount 10" in a sealed enclosure. Going to take the luggage rack out from under the rear seat and mount the amp and speaker there.

Just the brain jolt I needed. Thank you. Now to find time to get the work done. I'll get some pics going when I get to the install.
Same here I got a sub and amp! Cant wait to wire mine all up, I have the two buckets in the back so im thinking behind my back console at a 45 degree angle just above the lid will be cool to mount the 10 inch infinity I got.
So, the speaker box won't fit under the seat, it's about 3/4" too tall. ended up moving it to behind the seat. Had to remove the tray and liner to get it in. Still have to get power wired up, but moving along nicely now. I'll get some pics up later.
