This time of year the tickets may cost less.
The price of snow blower parts in the blizzard
may be sky high.

Yeah it was the 24th when I was helping people get up the hill. It amazes me how many people drive in the winter with those low profile performance tires. Those ain't good for anything but dry pavement.

Ya wifes has a Olds Alero with those Low Profile Preformance tires

a week before X-Mas last year she slide off the road down about a 10ft Dang Near straight drop and Onto a POND. The Pond was Iced over Really good so Car didnt go into the drink.

Why it Didnt flip I have No Idea

It broke the Control Arm and tie rod Front tire was just Flopping on the wind

It Blew my mind the Ins Totaled the Car I couldnt beleive it they had a 6K Bill going on it they wanted to replace ALL Kinds of stuff I was Dumbfounded The shop even tried to say frame was bent but it was a Manufacture Contour They just needed to look at Other side of frame

Anyway they paid the car Off and Owed me 600.00 after car was paid off and Tow Bill was done (It was a Very Spendy Tow Bill to and towed 3 times)

So I got it back Home and spent 400.00 to fix it you would never Know goes as straight as the day I got it New

But those tires SUCK It needs Studded tires

The 6.0L has done Great this week All we been driving

The first snow I got to try my truck in was just a fews weeks back.
Put it in 4X4 and it dug right in ad away we went. No monster tires
on it just M&S rated ones and I was very happy. I guess it helps
with 1/3 of the weight is over the rear tires.

Weather?

Was a minus 45 here in Glennallen, AK last week with very little snow.

A cyclone is blowing in the Gulf of Alaska and temps here are now a plus 31!

Nothing like 76 degree temperature change!

Everything is very slippery!

Holding my breath waiting for either rain or snow.

Hope you all have a fine New Year!

Any luck getting parts for your snow blower?

For the second year in a row I let my snow blower sit the off season without draining the gas. After I drained the tank, cleaned out the carb with a can of carb spray I filled it up with fresh gas with Stabil in it. I'll get the hang of this some day

I Have Found its Better to store a Small engine with Enough fuel in the Tank so it Cant Dry Up

I did find Parts but all Special Order from Briggs-n-strat $$116.00 in damage All the Gears for Camshaft

I did find one very small spring in the Crank CASE IDK what Part had it and Its the only thing in Question. I think it might be from Idel Load Control But I dont see it on the Diagram peice IDK Or ANY Piece in the Crankcase for that Matter on there Diagram

I can Find more info on the 6.0L than the Briggs LOL

I miss living on the Island! Compensation is having the best job in 20 years & Sask. is booming. Oil / gas / uranium / potash

We're next... Supposed to start snowing later today into tomorrow. We reached our high temp of 19 at midnight... All downhill from there. Maybe a high of 3 tomorrow.
