2012 f350 cab heater
Hey guys, new to this forum. Bought a new 12' f350 Dually in June. in about October after only a few times using the heat; the auxillary or electric element heater burnt - I mean burnt; cables and all......The dealership changed it no probs, but I don't feel it throws as good of heat as the original, but maybe the first one was throwing too much and thats why it burnt. Also, Being a first time Ford owner I find the blower fan very weak compared to all my previous Chevs.
There is little to no air come out the back vents to the crew cab, and I always have the blower on high....Is this normal? If I had my Chevy on high, I would have windburn by the time I got to where I was going
Any thoughts would be appreciated. Otherwise so far a super truck-Impressed by the 6.7's quietness and power. crewcab lots of room. glad to have a full long box again.

You may want to stop in the place you had work on it and say that
it has not been right sense they worked on it. Maybe you can get out of
the service fee that way. Every Ford I have had that back seat heat the
blower has worked well. You could also check the same model and year
on the lot and see how it compares to yours.
It's possible that they did not get all the duct hooked back up.

Thanks, that is my thought as well. Especially the rear heat, that is exactly what it seems like as if there is no ducting at all. The controls need to be right off defrost, on upper and lower body with fan on high, and I don't think there would be enough air flow to blow out a match, or even flicker it......
