I wouldn't mind traveling and seeing more of the country, and up in to Canada. I've been as far west as Colorado, lived there for a couple years. I'd like to go to Alaska and check it out, that's about it. Pretty much if I can drive there, I wouldn't mind going. Never been on a plane, train, or ship.

Morning Bill!

I've been on 2 planes(2 to many), no ships, no trains. I'm a homebody bigtime. I've been called a hermit more than once by my sister! Like I said a long time ago in this thread, I don't like to travel unless I'm hauling my trailer to a race somewhere!

I'm a big history guy. That's why Europe is so interesting. You just don't have history here like over there. That and Amsterdam, but that's a story for a different time. I'd like to go back, but there's still more in the states I'd like to see first. I love the west. I lived in Phoenix for about 3 yrs and fell in love with the southwest as well. I love the south. Hell I love America!

Bill and Darin if you like horsepower, there's nothing like takeoff on a jumbo jet!

I've travelled for work for 17 years and it flat out sucks! There is nothing cool about night after noght away form your family in a hotel room and airports are the worst. Last year i flew over 90,000 miles or so - which isn't much for some people - and if I never had to get on another plane it would not bother me in the least. I have friends who go to different places for work and manage to go see the sights, but it just doesn't interest me. Maybe because I have lived in 10 states all across the country. Like others I've been a lot of places, but home is the only place I really want to be. With any luck the new company I am working for will hit it big in the next 2 years and I will get out of the business and learn to be a old-time blacksmith (my dad used to be CEO of Bridgeport Machines for any of you metal-workers out there and my grandpa was a machinist). Then I am going to tow my portable forge around behind my big black Ford and sell handmade trinkets at festivals...maybe some custom work for some builder friends of mine. Dreams!!! And avoid airplanes at all cost!

If you want to be radiated then go thru airport scanners. Oh, it doesn't hurt, its like a dental xray. But folks, its accumulative in your body. They are starting to find out that the people who work around them are getting cancer. Don't believe me? Then go fly all you want. Those machines are not effective anyway, weapons have taken thru them to prove a point. Dogs are much more effective in keeping the airways safe.
