If I get on, I would only be able to attend RRE that Saturday and Sunday. Maybe not even Saturday if they run production that day. It would be impossible to predict.
It would be great if you could make it, but that sounds like a pretty good job and should take top priority. I hope you can make RRE, but I also hope you get the job.
If I do get on and stick with it, I should have money to feed my Powerstroke Modification Syndrome. So, when I can attend events like that, it will be in a way better truck.
By the way, I just realized that I've hijacked this thread and turned it into my job hunt thread. My bad, guys.
AWWW DONT sweat that Joseph! Just so we all are having fun.HEck rre is about the trucks but more as well about the social end of this. Of course i could just come visit you any day anyway.BUT its your turn to come to my house since I have been to yours lol.

I cannot think of his name at the moment.
Uhm..
Anyways, he had to go home early.
drove back the next morning right up on to the dyno and then back to work.
No, the next stage is all on simulating production line work. I got to take a sneak peek in there at the guys who were already doing that part. The problem-solving stuff is what I just did. This next stage is where I get to put in an 8 hour work day doing tasks that are at least twice as boring as actual line work, without pay, just to see if I can hack it.
That's what I meant by interpersonal. If I remember right from talking with the guy that runs that workforce center they actually throw some things at you to see how you handle the interpersonal issues that arise in line work. Part of it is seeing if you can solve a problem with a co-worker without going all Bill-like and threatening the whole shop!! So put on your happy face and address anything head-on and in a pleasant manner. I could be wrong but I think this was a part of that assessment. good luck.
