Check the fuse for your PCM. If the fuse is not blown, than your PCM may be fried.
Try fuse 13 or 9? in the cab, I can't remember. IIRC one of those powers the obdII port/pcm. If it were fuse 22 under the hood, which powers the pcm, the truck wouldn't run.
these only talk to certain scanners ethos isnt one of them as far as I know. the older snap on scanner works with the correct "personality" plug in it. also some tuners can read codes. autoenginuity is what a lot of guys use on here. whats wrong with your truck?
actually the fuse for the scanner plug/cig lighter was blown so we swapped it out and it still said the same thing after several attempts. as for whats wrong with my truck... the short of it is I am getting horrible milage like 11. 190000 on the clock. the truck feels really sluggish untill i really get on it and some boost builds up. I know that I have leaky up pipes and the Intake plenum under the turbo is a little leaky. I fixed leaks in the other side and the main gasket on the turbo. my ebpv is disabled in open position. I just wanted to see what some of the sensors were doing and hopefully verify that the above mentioned leaks are contributing to the problem. i also have that wierd surging idle. also I dont drive like a nascar driver and i check my milage manually. stock tires. I want the AE, I just cant afford it right now.
If you have that many leaks, I'll go as far as saying that is almost all of your problem. If you are any good at welding you can make some bellowed uppipes out of your stockers for very little money. Some time and work though.
Maybe that scanner isn't capable like Ken mentioned since the fuse is good. I'm not sure.
yeah, the remaining leaks are definately next on my list. im thinking about rebuilding the turbo since itll be off. anybody know where to get the actual bellows piece i will need for the home made up pipes?
