The truck I just bought has a superchips 1705 in it, and is in hi perf mode. I'm trying to get it back to stock because its very jumpy, and hopefully I'll have the PHP back in or the new hydra in soon...
I keep getting error code 8, call superchips. I've done some research a little bit and am going to check all the fuses, etc... Maybe pull the fuel pump fuse and the GPR fuse, because supposedly a draw down can effect it.
Anyone here know about these things?
Normally I would at this point, but I don't have one...
mine came with sc 1705 po ran it in the tow safe mode,it seems to run & shift better than stock program.so that will have to do until I quit throwing so many new parts at it to where I can step up to a good chip.
I've got everything ordered from clay to get it back up to where my other truck was (plus a little bit). Once it's back where it needs to be, I'll either put my PhP back in it, or sell the PhP and get the new Hydra they offer. The superchips just came with it, and I've got someone who wants it so I needed to get it back to stock to get rid of the vin lock.
The thing about the hydra that is so enticing, is that it can run tunes from different companies at the same time. You can put a few tunes from PHP, a few from BTS, a few from swamps, etc...
