There is a fuel line (steel) that runs from the bowl to the rear of the passenger side head. There is a clamp, called a "p" clamp, near the front, that the insulation wears through and rubs through the line, creating a mess. Search for p clamp, etc for how to. It might be listed in the first three threads of the forum, common mods, etc..
