odd idle jump just started today

ok a little about the truck its a 00 with about 178k miles about 8k on fuel filter, 3k on oil/filter. ok so after idling at the bank today for about 10 minutes i noticed every 2-3 mins. my idle would jump approx. 300 rpms and slowly come down to idle RPM with out me doing anything. i have had a problem with when im coming to a stop it stays idled up a little and slowly comes down to idle but i cleaned the EBP sensor and tube on thursday and it hasnt done it since, but now this, any suggestions?

This reminds me of when i was goofing around the the 10k resistor in the ICP.. My idle was all goofy. I wonder if you ICP is going south. It would hang the idle high while coming to a stop and it would slowly come down.

In the picture. In the middle, right hand side. ICP

Mine does it too, not sure why. Only when the engines hot. Pull up to a light and it takes a few seconds for it to come down that last couple hundred rpms. Oddly enough if i turn my Air Conditioner off it will come down instantly not sure what it is. But its done it for a long time 75k miles.lol.

mine does it when the a/c is off as well as on, i did post what the ipr and icp was doing on my scanner a couple of weeks ago and it was good but there is a little bit of oil on the sensor which made me think it was bad, do you think even though whatever the scanner recorded was in check it could be intermittent trouble with the sensor?

Not sure on scanner data stuff. But if the sensor is bleeding oil into the connector. I would think the ICP is really going south. I would change it if i seen oil in the connector because i am afraid of walking.
