oil odor
hey guys i got a 2004 6.0 113 on her. every thing is stock right down to filters i use. Every now and then ill get a strong oil odor going down the road? engine clean. turbo no sighns of oil,

going down the road you say? were you happen to be behind a chevy at the time? oh wait they usually smell like coolant burning.

ive noticed it on a few start ups but mainly going down the road i travel about 20 miles to the farm and its totally random ill go days with out the smell just drove it 750 miles up to ohio for xmas and would notice it after idle couple times. ive flashlighted all under the hood i have no sighns so my thought is maybe nothen to worry about ive only had this 6.0 for about 4 months. was a one owner truck out of NC
