EBP valve resistor

EBP valve resistor

Is there a resistor that can be installed at the plug so when it is unpluged at the turbo it wont set a code??

470k 1/4w resistor.

It's a 470 ohm 1/2 watt (can be found at Radio Shack). Some prefer a 1 watt, if available, but the 1/2 watt has been in my truck for several years with no problems.

Yes. Some cut off the plug and solder it to the wires, others bend the ends and install it into the plug terminals. See 1fixitman's link in the previous post.

No. It is simply used to eliminate soft codes that are stored by the PCM due to the EBP solenoid being disconnected.
