1996 crew cab rear window problems

i bought a 1996 CC SB powerstroke 2 days ago and the rear window on the passenger side is stuck down about 4 inches and the motor is non operational and i snowed last night....a lot and i need to know how to get the rear window up any ideas?

if the window motors burnt, you need a new window reg motor.
you can take the door panel off,take the window off the track, push it up, drill a hole in inside door and reg. arm, run a screw thru both. it'll hold the window up til you can replace the motor.

i thought you had to have the windows down to take the panel off

doesn't matter to remove door panel.

Pull the door panel(doesnt matter window up or down) and check for power at the switch. It is COMMON for the wires to brake in the hinge area
