You are going to have to pull the access panel off and see what has become disconnected. Once you get a look inside of the door we can give you some recommendations.
Once retreive the window probably need to adjust the division bar. Since the panel is removed, suggest taking a vac and clean out the bottom of the door to remove any dirt, etc., that may clog the water drain holes. Finally, apply small amount of lub oil to the window regular, and door hand mechanism, find makes raise/lowering window little easier.
Found the problem, the little grommet that the window lever hooks into at the bottom of the window pops out when the door gets shut too hard while the window is down, it shouldnt do it when the window is up but i like to leave the window down, is there like glue or putty I can put inthere to keep it from popping out?
The little 'grommet' as you describe is available thru catalog resources or eBay.
If the grommet did pop out of the track, you really need to get a replacement.
If, however the riser arm just popped out as you described, Henry already took care of that problem when the truck was built. There is a clip in the tracking bushing (the grommet) that engages a groove in the riser arm that keeps this from happening. Your clip may have been just 'sprung'. Pull it out and re-bend it inward with a pair of pliers or in a vise.
Be careful, since those clips are designed by the factory to shoot across the garage just seconds before they have been squeezed to fit properly. They usually end up under a drill press or other large piece of equipment that is difficult to move, so look there first.
Once found, re-install it in the slot in the bushing and slide it into the bottom glass riser channel. Just make sure the riser arm snaps into the bushing. You should be good to go.
I saw that clip, didnt think anything of it, I will have to try it tomorrow! I didnt know if the rolling grommet had busted or not, good thing is I don't keep the vehicle in the garage (garage is used for storage) so I would be able to find it on the driveway lol
During shipping or loading, the driver's side window fell off the track and is now stuck inside the door... how can I get it out and back on track?
The glass did not fall off the track, what has happened is...
The plastic window roller has broken. When this occurs (and this is very common), the glass falls down into the door.
Sometimes, you can get the glass back up by cranking the handle all the way down, then crank it all the way up.
The window roller connects to the arm of the window regulator with a clip (comes with the roller), then fits into the channel the bottom edge of the glass sits in.
Since Ford used this same window roller in a gazillion different cars and trucks, most autoparts stores should carry it.
Had this happen today at the transmission repair place. 🙁
I have to get it home and see what happened via the panel. Does the window actually fall "of the track" or is it just sitting at its lowest point?
I would always take something apart and inspect it before going and buying parts for something. That roller is a common cause of the window dropping down, but it could also be the window came out of the lift channel that is sits in or some other reasons described in the shop manual.
Benny,
Not sure what your exact window condition is from your description, but there is not a lot too it and should be easy to figure out once the door panel is removed. Yes, the roller is the most likely culprit, but failure of the window regulator is a possibility. I would also replace the tape/bedding material that secures bottom of glass to lift channel.

Thank you gentlemen. I've cleaned up some posts and edited others. Let's stop with the "taking to task" because while this thread is 10 years old, it's still a relevant bump and there are so few posts it isn't like it's gonna get lost. It will add to the knowledge base.
