Drivers side window?

Drivers side window?
On my 99 ranger when i roll up the windows the window will drop forward, am i correct in thinking all i need is a new clip that attaches to the window and snaps into the track at the rear of the window. or could there be more going on than i think?

There only one arm the lowers and raises the window, not a scissor arm like most of us are used to. There is a post in the middle that holds the the window straight while its moving up and down. Pull the door panel and check to make sure that post fastened top and bottom. The bottom might have rusted out or the channel on the bottom of the window might have broken.

If it turns out the window regulator itself is shot here is a link on a replacement.

Thanks I took the door panel off and everything is still fixed properly and the regular works good but the window will flop forward about 1/4in while in travel. I lubed everything and put it back togather. It does not bother anything and the window still works fine otherwise. thanks again.
