I have a 97 F150 with a 4.6. Dont like the thing much but im selling it so I need to fix this problem. Whenever i leave it sit for more than 24 hours the battery dies. The battery, alternator and starter have all been tested and all check out good, (including checking for surface load on battery) Now when I turn the truck off (and take the key out) there is a whinning noise on the driver side of the throttle body. Im thinking its related, but i havent gotten around to figuring out what this stupid thing is, Its got on electrical connector to it and three vacuum lines.
The guy I bought it from had a dixie horn, cab lights, and an after market stereo installed... I checked the lights then this slush storm hit us, so I guess we'll see if that fixed it. Im going to check other the other things tomorrow, as well as the other lights.
