Tank range??
Without filtering it?
Thats the only thing I am worried about, the metal (contaminate) in the waste oil. Injectors are more expensive than a few gallons of fuel.
I have not ran it in my truck. though I am sure mine is using a bit since I am pretty sure I have an injector o-ring that is letting oil into the fuel... so i guess mine has oil injection LOL. I have never been under the valve covers, I just see black fuel filters every time when I change them.
Yep, I change my fuel filter in the EX every 5000 miles when I change the oil, I add 2 quarts of Lucas @ every oil change & every 10000 on the Pete, with 1 gallon of Lucas in the oil on it.... Never had a problem out of either 208k on the EX and 1,805,000 on the Pete with 1 inframe rebuild @ 1.5 mil.
When I don't have old oil, I run 2 cycle at the same rate of 1/2 oz per gallon.

I've been waiting since to find out when they cant fit the windshield, so I can then get the truck past its test to then get all the paperwork finished so I can drive it on the road..........it turns out that all the windshields for these trucks in the UK have been marked wrong with the part number, so everything in stock is showing the correct part number, but tha actual windshield is wrong! Now have to wait for one to be shipped from the USA, so it will be mid to end Jan!!!!!

At least I have more time to work on the Ex now..............

Dumb question--where in the heck are you going to find room to run 700 miles (1127 km) anyway? Couldn't you just about circle the U.K. in that range? Sorry--just kidding.
I just drove my '05 back to Tulsa from Nebraska in the aftermath of a big winter storm on the plains. We had about 7" (18 cm) of snow while the wind was blowing 35 - 45 mph, with lots of white-out blizzard conditions until Thursday morning. The snow plows worked most of the night just to keep the drifts off of the roads. We awoke to sunny skies at 17F (-8C) and winds 'only' blowing about 25 mph.
The interstates were closed and all the big rigs were stranded in the service stations. We used the back roads and older U.S. highways to find our way home. The first 150 miles we drove in 4WD at only 40 - 45 mph on snow-packed and icy 'high-crowned' roads. There were many cars in the ditch, but very few on the road. It was basically the Excursion and the snow plows.
Once we got to central Kansas, the roads cleared out and I jumped it up to 75 - 80 mph the rest of the way home in 2WD.
After 525 miles, the truck took 31 gallons to fill. 16.9 mpg. Showed over 1/4 tank remaining. I think the range even at 75 mph is somewhere around 740 miles. Add this tremendous range onto the 4WD capability with the heavy stance on icy roads--it is quite a combination. I know my BMW 330i would still be in Nebraska!

I know what you mean with the BMW, we have a Mercedes E320 CDI with the AMG package and it is simply undriveable in the snow/ice - It's that bad that when I think it might snow, I have to make sure it's not on the end of my drive, blocking my Expedition in (and now Excursion)..........I made that mistake once
And our country is actually 838 miles long (top to bottom) so I couldn't even do that on one tank
Seriously though, we like to go into France and then we are only limited on time we have away and money for gas and hotels, otherwise we'd drive thousands of miles! (that's the plan when our 3 kids are older and have their own lives/families)Maybe we'll take a trip in the Ex to Austria in the February school holidays, that'd be about 2500 miles..........if I ever get this thing on the road by then! Although It'll probably be safer on short trips until I get to trust it
