the cool part of your combo is that you get a real nice gain going to a 4bbl carb. the gas you will save by using a 650cfm over a 750 is noticable. so i would get a 650 carb, and a aluminium intake for a 4bbl carb. the edelbrock will give better fuel, the wieand more power, but not by much. The use of a egr plate wont hurt that much, as I am guessing you had one on till you started to rebuild. Your states smog laws will be a big factor on you keeping it on.
I was thinking; with such a restricted intake 350CFM, that the INT side would like more dur and with headers and dual EX that it all would even out. Flat TQ from 2k-4k is what I'm looking for, and it seem I got it.
