Hey guys..I'm planning on finishing moving the perches today..but was curious about how to put bolts back in after I move them forward? Seems like the cradle blocks you from getting to any holes underneath..and I don't wanna have to weld them.

You shouldn't have any problems are you moving them or changing them out.. You'll have to reach down inside to get to them I used a drop light and you can see the ones below the engine to get to but if your moving them and have the engine in good luck you have to raise the motor up and use a right angle drill to redrill the holes I had to even shorten the drill bit to give me more room on my 68 I went from a I6 to V8 motor mounts set the motor down a couple of inches like it suppose to be..
I removed some 302/351 engine frame stands from a truck in the junk yard. Engine was still in it. Couldn't raise the truck very much. what a mess!! Took me 4 hours. When it was time to install the V8 stands in my truck I did it when a helper was available. Much easier with the engine out and if you recruit someone to hold the top while you do the bottom.
Engines already out thank goodness..gettin ready to do a swap so have to move the perches forward. Was just having a hard time gettin to the nut on the bottoms since the cradle blocks it
