They want 1500 with new Michelin at2's. Mike, would you want my wheels? I do have an alloy matching spare also.
Anthony - if you're picking up those wheels you're gonna be in my area. They're in Saint Charles, IA which is about 30 minutes south of Des Moines where I live. I just spotted them while searching on Craigslist. Let me know if you're coming through anytime.

Right on,, maybe ill run up n the Audi. 1500 is too much,, I'd b game at 1200 tho.
I-70 chain laws only effect vehicles with a GVWR of 26,001 or GCWR of 26,001
Otherwise, it's for naught and I have never heard of State Patrol pulling over anyone for not having chains except actual 18-wheelers.
Josh
Oh no,,, I beg to differ. If there's dot #'s on the truck,,, better have chains in the truck. At least that's what the highway patrol officers in co I've talked to said.

1200 would be a good deal. Let me know if you're coming through. As long as I'm not tied up at work or with the kids I wouldn't mind a chance to meet ya.

Don't need DOT numbers on pickup trucks in Colorado. But trucks running thru the state don't have that choice as some states require a pick up used for commercial work to have those displayed.

We gotta look this up. But I need dot #'s in Colorado. I know that for sure.
DOT numbers might be required for interstate travel, but not required for intrastate. None of the companies I work for have DOT numbers on pickup trucks, only trucks over 26,001 pounds and those under 26,001 that travel into Wyoming.

Wow, that's awesome,, thx Josh. No sir,,, I don't need chains. Sometimes I do, cause I do go over 26001 gvwr on occasion. But I'm not telling my dispatch tho. Lol. They've been payin us for the southern route for years. I'd like to have the statute number on that, cause I've asked at the scales n they said I do need them. Good call. Josh

Intrastate is much different than interstate. Those are apples to oranges btw.
In nor cal thru truckee cal trans requires chains any vehicle or 4x4 to go thru into tahoe, slide by them by showing four finger one X and a middle, and never looked back lol
Neways?!?! Loaded headed to Mesa. It's nice to get to run by home on my work weekend.
I think I'm gonna meet corey (creator), and hopefully meet up with Brian again. John (maxim4x4) got me hooked up with some FTE stickers to put on the underside of the hood. That's cool.
