Hey guys,, almost got the rear ender settled with the ins company. I'm Rollin now. Just ran a quick Mesa run,, sorry Brian, I wanted to call but it was a very quick trip. But it's time to start running back in our northern routes.
Hey Mike, u busy on Thursday night??? Maybe Don is free also. We're delivering a Quebec Thursday morn.
Delivering a chilliwack bc on Monday,,, maybe I can finally meet Sean,, amdriven. I'd like to see Yahiko again too.
I got the FTE sticker n need the signatures.
Would enjoy meeting you too Anthony. I'm a grave yard person, so that is where I'm at that time of day. Sleep can be adjusted for a meet!
Anthony great to see your all fixed up. We missed you. Keep me posted when your coming through and we'll set something up. Hopefully Mike will be free as well. Cheers buddy. Hey you hauling for Heartland? Ordered a new toyhauler which will be ready in about five weeks to be brought up to Ontario. It'd be awesome if you got that haul. My next big one is going to be a dually conversion to pull this baby, 2900lb pin wt. What do think? Do I need it? Just want to spread the load over a couple more tires.
I get the Dually question all the time. I would say that depends on the weight of the trailer, stability in the wind is a factor to consider. I only haul them empty, not sure how a toy hauler reacts differently when it's loaded with goodies. What length did you get?? What's the weight rating??
I did get a pic of the nice pin boxes
That one is very nice. I can count on one hand how many times I wish this truck was a Dually. Only when I get stuck pulling a 40' tt. Bumper pull park model. Those are very nasty to pull. I'm good with all the fw's with my single wheel. Especially now since I got my hd leaf springs.

That's awesome. Mike can vouch how my schedule isn't always 9 to 5. I'm a graveyard person also. I will definitely be there Sunday night,, maybe Sunday afternoon. I'm crossing into bc at sumas. Goin to chilliwack.

Thanks bud, That is the pin box I ordered for the new toyhauler. It's a Heartland Roadwarrior RW30C 11720 dry, 2900lb pin 14600 GVW. It's the Titanium with the extra 5ft up front and sits just over the cab. Also has the 88* turning radius. 30ft tow length pin to bumper and 37ft total length.
Sure hope we get to meet up this Thursday. Have you heard from Mike yet?
I have a Ragen FA 3405 and the hitch weight is about 2k and fully loaded with water and fuel I have weighted it and it was 16k and I pull it with a srw and have no air bags. It pulls fine that way my old truck that was stolen had air bags and it does make a difference I plan on installing air bags on my currant truck this year.

That's good to hear. I have air bags now and my current fifth wheel is 1380 pin wt and without the bags just touched the helpers and the trailer weight is 10600lb. With 40 PSI in the bags it's a good 1-2" from touching the helpers and the ride is amazing. Just wondering what 2900lbs is gonna be like. Don't plan on loading it up just a couple of race karts and related gear. Maybe 1000lb plus our personals and regular trailer gear.
Crap,,,, I talked to Sean last night,,,, and no we are not. I thought u were n bc. Not wa. I'm coming across 90 then headed north. But I'm planning on going to Sean's prob Sunday early am n we are gonna try n hook up a makeshift waste gate to try n fix my issue.

Sounds like an interesting project.
If I didn't have to work Saturday night, might have been tempted for a road trip!
Well, keep me in mind next time you come down this way.
They replaced ONE battery. It must of been a real stinker. Voltage jumped
up more than I have seen it after start and a lot faster too.
In the process of getting the battery checked we found the the master fuse for the
HID was turning crispy. So I got the needed replacement and did that when I got home.
Just so I would know what the power draw was I checked it. 14 Amp to start and
it settles down to about 11 Amp once they are on and warmed up. I'll have to keep an
eye on this and maybe rebuild the control box with a non-Chinese one with better
construction.
Awesome time last night with you and mchan68 last night and our wives. Great to meet up. Next time it's smoked ribs and bbq, at my house with of course some wobbly pops out on the back deck. Cheers buddy and thanks a million. Looking forward to your next Quebec haul. Cheers
Now it's off to change tear into that damb front caliper and see the extent of the damage. Hope the bearings not cooked
Watch your weight in BC. There the manufacturers GVWR is the legal limit for weight, so a big pin weight trailer would probably put you over. They have some weigh stations on the highways around Vancouver where all vehicles have to stop and get weighed, RV's included.
Hey guys,, Im sittin here at Mikes... figured Id post it up. Me n Julie are getting ready to head out to Vancouver. Had a great night with Don, Sherry and Mike and Rakel. Got a cookout planned for when its warmer at Dons place. Anyone else wanna come???
