Mines looking like it's gonna need replacement in the not so distant future...
A lot of the paint is peeling off and rust is starting to form. Might try taking the old paint off, putting a rust treatment on it and repainting until I can get the time and tools to change it out...
I just did mine, 5.0 tho. Bought pan from Advance auto for about 60 bucks, it was the premium one. just as good as the factory one I took off. Bought the one piece felpro gasket, very nice quality and I bought a motorcraft pump from Rock auto. Came with the pick up tube gasket and the oil pump flange gasket.
The fun began with removing the exhaust, I removed the motor and tranny mounts and jacked them both up as high as I could get them, I blocked up with wood and dropped the pan on the crossmember. I dropped the pump and pick up tube in the pan and slid it out, I changed out my mounts as well, I'll say the ones I got from Rockauto were slightly thinner base metal than my originals. Put it all back and drank multiple beers. No leaks to date
