Blower motor replacement [alternative?]
With the current thread regarding a squealling blower fan motor, I thought of something I have heard, but did not want to hijack the thread.
Has anyone heard of or tried using a blower motor from a more recent Crown Victoria / Grand Marquis? I believe I have read that it provides a greater air flow.
If so, what year for the donor? Thanks!

No, I haven't. But, motors aren't all the same. Some have a lot more power, but they usually pull more current to make that power. I'd be concerned about whether our wiring could handle a bigger motor, but want to learn so I'm signed on.
