...and what kind of engine.

Hold your foot to the floor and crank it for 5 seconds, do that like 3 or 4 times, you probably flooded it.

Ok. Got it figured out. I guess it jumped time Messed with the distributor some an got it running an had to adjust timing some more by ear cause I don't have a light. But I think I need new timing chain because I drove it and gassed on it a little in 1st gear an it did the same thing, sputtered out an died and wouldn't start back up. What y'all think?

Yeup, need a new timing chain at the least. Might wanna check your drive sprockets too
