After several hours of being plugged in I went out and fired it back up. Still romped terribly, but the frequency of romping was faster than yesterday. I told my wife I was going for a drive and that I might need her to come tow me home and took off. Within a mile or so I could tell it was smoothing out. Within a few miles it was normal. Seems to be running great again.
At this point it's difficult to say for certain that the dislodged seal was the cause, but it sure seems to be the case. A strange situation for sure. Anyone have a theory about how a dislodged input shaft seal could cause high ICP and low DC%?
