My parents have a 2005 Excursion with the 3 position (lock, unlock, auto) locking hubs that use a vacume line for auto. The driver's side hub has **** the bed and the **** just spins freely. Dad and I took it apart and some of the internals are wore out. We were able to reassymble it in the "locked" position and put it back on so that it is locked in full time for right now. My question to the group is this- Can we put a conventional manual locking hub from a F-250 on the Excursion and just plug off the vacume line? The price of the excursion hubs is almost double what the 250 hubs are, and from what I rember of my '06 f250, the splines look identical.
Every 4wd they have owned prior to this had been manual locking hubs, so the whole family is used to getting out to lock the hubs if need be, so that is not a big issue, as long as it works.
As far as I know the warn and the milestone hubs are the recomendations around here for the manuals. And yes the f250's should fit as well as far as I know.
I've checked with four different retailers that sell Warn products and they have all told me the same thing, Warn does not list one. I've checked Warn's web sight, they don't list one. Warn stops at 2004. I need the hub for a 2005. Do you have a part number for Warn.
Now that I feel like an arogant jackass, I stand corrected. I'm going to pull the hubs off of the excursion tonight to double check that they are the 30 spline hubs used up through 2004. XbigXredX, I appologize if I came off as disrespectful.

No worries, we're all here trying to help each other. Thanks for the apology you're a stand up guy. My apologies if I was curt as well. Hope you get the truck all fixed, let us know we like to see the end results.
