Towing-- what to expect??
I have a 2007 Lincoln Mark LT 4X4 with tow package that I bought new and now have 60,000mi on it. I have done some towing with it-- short haul 250 mi or less. Biggest load was a 5 ton car hauler with a Suburban on it that I pulled about 100 mi. I am soon retiring and would like to know if this tranny and diffs, brakes, etc. are up to pulling same trailer with my Jeep on it to Utah and Arizona, over mountain passes, etc. Or should I be looking for a Super Duty to do this kind of pulling?? My truck has been very well maintained-- oil changed every 3000 mi; tranny serviced every 30,000 mi, etc. Thanks in advance. Don
