Muffler v.s. no muffler egt's

How much would go mufflerless help my temps? Anyone have a pyro that could help me out?

How much would going mufflerless help my exhaust temperatures? Anyone have a pyro that could help me out? Also will diesel kleen raise or lower exhaust temps?

Alot of things come into play with a question like that. But the gist of it would be whether or not your muffler is plugged up as it is. I would say it probably wouldnt drop them much.

Well my truck smokes alot and also still has the stock intake

Im looking. Only have about $500 ti spend though. Just spent 250 on gauges.

Until then should i quit running diesel kleen? Does it help lower or raise egt's?

DK does not matter. You don't need no damn muffler! Ditch it. Put a turbo on it and run a 4" exhaust straight pipe.

don't remove your muffler.even with a turbo it's too loud.don't listen to all these deaf people lol.
seriously,it's way too much on an n/a engine.i put a large straight through muffler on mine before i turbocharged it and it was too much.didn't realize how bad til the turbo toned it down.very peaceful in the cab again.
it's ok i suppose if you drive real easy.but if you work it,it gets old real fast.

you should turn your fuel back down.your just tossing $ out the tail pipe.only forced induction can help burn it and propel the truck forward.your just raising the exhaust temps and waring out your engine for nothing.
