Lol good one, I was just sayin the egts were no issue, idk how the banks air box is but the ATS box seems restricted. My factory 93 idiT I could cover it and kill the engine lol no chance on cone filter not getting enough air lol if your that worried about egts intercool it and call it good
I GET IT! YOU DO NOT LIKE THESE OPEN ELEMENT SYSTEMS. THAT'S FINE! YOU CAN STOP TRYING TO POUND IT INTO MY HEAD. I AM CLEARLY NOT GOING TO CHANGE BACK.
science may say one thing(i agree with the science) but REAL WORLD results DO NOT LIE! if open intakes like this are SO BAD then it would have been discovered by now by the masses and NOBODY would be running an open element.
im not worried about egts because i have cowl induction.intercooling as well yes.can't get enough cold, dense, pressurized air into the engine.
don't forget we have access to google.much to learn out there about the benefits of cold air for diesel engines.
main thing is i guess you have fun.don't let me stop ya.just trying to get ya to use google some more.
airflow at 3000rpms....430cfm
exhaust flow at 3000rps....1250cfm (@753*f for what its worth)
at sea level, unknown ambient temp
so if you turn up the fuel settings, try to get more boost, your CFM will increase, which to me sounds like a limiting factor if your trying to hit full potential.
