The FICM main power is the one you need to watch all the time 48 volts is ideal. If at any time it drops below 45 volts the FICM needs to be repaired.

A backup camera isn't going to help.....

We have a large field with lots of dandelions on our land with a dirt road
down the center.
My wife once backed up our Jeep TJ about 300 yards (NO trailer).
She was off both sides of the road at various times.
When I got in, I said "you missed a few dandelions do you want to try again?"
Even she thought that was funny.

Thumbs up

Thanks for all the good info on here. Hopefully this will be my last question on this subject. I have one of my gauges set for EOT-Engine oil temp. Anyone have an optimal rage I should be looking for? Also I can not seem to find an e gauge for ECT-Engine coolant temp? Is there one for the scan gauge and if so do I need to have an additional sensor? Thanks

I think its fWT for F* Water Temp. The newer units also come programmed
for ECT I believe - but it's easy to program in...

Once your cooler temp gets to 190 the oil temp should be close behind.
Under normal conditions (not towing, flat terrain) highway speeds the coolant
should be about 190, and oil temp should be LESS than 15 ABOVE the coolant temp.

If your coolant stays < 184-ish your t-stat is bad (or you are in Northern Alberta with cold temps)

Thanks for the info. I did find the coolant temp gauge. I was looking for ECT instead of Fwt. I got my four gauges going this is what I averaged today on normal highway and city no tow. FWT188-190 EOT 190-193 VOLT 13.1-13.6 FICM MAIN POWER 47-47.5
