So the fpr is behind the "pipe plug" looking thing on the side of the fuel bowl? So should I take that plug out and inspect it, or just get a new one and put it in?
Would it be a good idea to pull the whole fuel bowl to mess with the fpr? If I pull the bowl, is there gaskets/o-rings that I'll need to have, or replace? Any thoughts? Looks like pulling the bowl would make replacing the ipr a lot easier.
Ok, so I went ahead and pulled the bowl. I won't know for sure until I clean it, and put it all back together but, I don't see how anything could get past that little screen, there is about a 1/8" thick layer of crap on it! So I'm gonna go tear it all apart and check out the inside of the fpr also. I'll probably change out the ipr before I put the bowl back in, I bought one last fall but never got around to changing it out. Can I get the couple o-rings for it at my local parts store? I'll let you guys know how it turns out.
You guys are the best! I pulled my fuel bowl, cleaned the fpr, which was unbelievably plugged with crap, changed
