Probably not the best guy to answer this, the two B's (Benny, Bismiic) would know better. But I would think if your just towing Utility Trailers and boats the 110 alts with new batteries would work. As far as Ed go's I just did the basic repair plus the extended warranty for $280. He said I could send it back in for the atlas 40 tune when funds become available. I have the cash now but I'm so happy with 48.5/ 49 volts I think I'll keep it as is.
