Charge level gauge?
I want one on my SD. As a diesel owner I have two batts and I just want to know my battery conditions. Is there a way to make one? Anyone out there good with electricity know where and what to buy? Is there a 12V gauge out there that I can wire in? Like I said, it's more than just a volt meter, it's useable power, volts and amps. It's got to be fairly simple. I'm not interested in a gauge that tells me what it's doing while I drive, I want to know what it's doing when it's not running.

Good luck!
The second that you put it on the charger it will
start to show as a full battery. So if you were to add
a voltmeter to you gauges you would get the same thing
and be a bit more useful. The easy way would be with the
ScanGaugeII : Linear Logic - Home of the ScanGauge
That way you can kill two birds with one stone.
Really more that two.
The only good way to tell what the battery has in it is a
load meter and they use power to test and create a lot of heat
