Getting some noise when wheels are turned all the way (left and right). Sounds like low steering fluid except resevoir is full......I had a small leak at fitting a few months ago. I tightened it up and she was good......possible air in system?

 

pump is probably going out

 

the Air if Any will bleed itself out with the Hydroboost & Power steering
(I doubt there is any air unless recent work has been done)

but the hydroboost pump could be going out

Check the Acc.Drivebelt and tensioner

 

Any ideas what a new pump runs.....and is it something an idiot like me can handle.

 

I would try flushing the ps fluid system first. If that didn't help then the new pump.
