'07 side mirror upgrade

If I have a '07 F150 FX4 with power exterior mirrors, does the wiring harness going to the mirror assembly have the extra connections already in place for the turn signal/heated mirror option? A friend of mine would like to upgrade his power adjust mirrors to the turn signal/heated mirrors while sticking to the OEM route. He does not want to have to cut/splice into existing wires. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Wiring should be ther, but you may or may not have to rearrange the wires and you will need to run a switch for the heated mirrors. The wiring may or may not be there for them behind the cigarette lighter panel.

If he has a rear defrost option in the truck, the wiring will already be in place for the heating. Turn signals, puddle lamps, and power should be pre-wired.

Glad I found this thread. I have a 2005 ford fx4. I have power and heated mirrors with turn signal. I want to upgrade to ones with puddle lamp and power fold along with heat signal and power adjust. Does anyone know if this is an easy swap and will maintain the factory wiring and switch or do I have to run wiring for it? My brother has an 05 King ranch with the exact mirrors and set up as me so it has me wanting the features especially living in the city with street parking.

Thanks for any help
