Im upgrading mirrors on my 01 so that I have turn signals in them. The original mirrors have three wires and ive got the pin out of those three figured out. The new mirrors have 4 additional wires (I assume for heated mirror and the turn signal.) Does anyone know what wires do what in this harness? Any help would be appriciated...

 

Are they power mirrors? The motor for moving the glass is wired with 4 wires to which a switch (like a window switch) has to be used as it reverses the polarity of the 2 wires for each direction (up/down & left/right). Maybe you can ad the oem mirror switch but you will have to run wires from the passenger door to the driver door.

 

mirrors are power.... Kind obvious since I said the original mirrors have wires. I already know how to wire the power mirror part (as I already stated), but need to know how to wire the turn signals....

 

O.K. then, maybe I should have asked if they (THE NEW ONES) have power telescoping, power folding, power glass, heat? The turn signals will also have running lights in them so at least 2 of the 4 are for that. Getting wire into the doors can be a real PITA. It would help if you stated which model year mirrors you are putting in and what options they have, I do have .pdf of the pin-outs somewhere in my hard drive.
