Today's big score
I found a F100/F250 side tool box at Pick a part. I haven't seen one in there for 2 years. Best part $35.
I know they are rare, but how rare are they.

All the ones I have seen were rusted out. Not worth trouble to fix

The ones for short wheel base are fairly rare but LWB ones are all over the place here.

Cool if there common somewhere.
I want to get one more, and that way I can have one on each side. On the 67 and later models if you cut the box, and flip the ends it will fit. So I can't see why it won't work on a 66.

I was going to modify the box so it sits normal, by cutting the corners off the back sides. Then flipping them.

Yes I am.
I got in in the Ontario Pick a Part.
One day I will make a trip to Adelanto as they supposedly have more classics.

Ditto....I see more longbeds with them than without them. My 66 has one, as well as the 65 I gave my Dad.
